I thoroughly enjoy the diversity of these positions, the project management, and the role of admin support. Temp, volunteer, apply for PT work and list that as your present role. Yes, it's nice to have your own page, but that costs money so the previously mentioned sites are all free and wide spread.

You care less, you’re easily annoyed, you start to do a cost-benefit analysis, you feel resentful, and you feel short changed. State you’d love to be an EA and learn so much you can be promoted to coordinator, director, manager. When you do things for money, it shows. Take personality tests, read books, talk to people.

I'm really interested in progressing and developing my skills but feel that managing the office is hindering my ability to focus on the core of being an EA. I've heard of EAs who are promoted to Operations or Facilities roles later on in their careers but at this point, I am playing both roles. It’s because they trust you.

Tell us your story on how you went from temping in LA to being the EA of high-profile CEOs. I found every single one of my jobs through a temping agency or by referral. I learned through informational interviews that I should apply to temp agencies. So I left that temp gig and went to work for the CEO.
