I don’t put things like Garbage Day or Recycling Day on my calendar. My wife does put them on the calendar, and because of that, I can see when the pickup dates are. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter what app or tool you use for your to do list. Because I don’t make dates with either of those things.

The best tool for this is Post-It notes. Utilize your calendar to schedule tasks. Sit down at your calendar and block out the time for your tasks. If you need to write/send your holiday cards then look at your calendar and schedule it in. In the calendar. Schedule those activities on your calendar.

Copy from website, paste into HTML editor, use tables to organize content if needed, copy html from code tab, then paste into Static HTML Image tools: Fireworks, Gimp, even Powerpoint can create an image out of a slide. Use as front-end image links going to your website. Don’t bother creating animated gif images. Bummer, I know.
