Changing the default view of your e-mail program so that the task or calendar screen shows instead of your in-box helps ensure you never lose sight of your tasks.

To do this, open up your scheduled meeting in the calendar that you are using and click on “Forward as iCalendar&#. If you want to update the calendar, you would have to make the changes in the meeting request directly. This way, they will be more inclined to read the e-mail properly.

Use your cell phone alarm Chances are, you use your calendar to remind you about meetings and any important events. I have 2 sets of alarms on my calendar. Constantly update it as well.

Schedule = Success My favorite is: There is no tool more useful to me than an electronic calendar (Outlook, ACT, Thunderbird, Google, it doesn't matter what brand.) reminders with alarms that go off, my schedule for every day, even dates a year or two from now, pick up and respond to email.

It allows us to easily email branded invoices to our clients, which they can then pay by mail or online. By recording payments as we receive them, we can just as easily monitor overdue payments and send email reminders. The initial thought was that we might need to design a server, network our computers together, etc.

Since Outlook only allows for one time zone to be added to the persons calendar , this makes it a little difficult. I am currently in the process of doing this for one of my managers. I have a Blackberry and would hate to lose my contacts and calendar, but stuff happens. My contacts, tasks, and calendar are updated if there are any changes. Look into purchasing an all-in-one fax, printer, and copier. A good practice is to perform a weekly backup of documents and files. Backup SMARTPhone Data.

Fax Blasts I remember someone from my IAAP Chapter asked me to fax the notice of our Chapter dinner to a list of about 60 companies to promote it. I dont know about you, but when I get these "flyer" type faxes, they go immediately in the recycle bin. Minute taking made easier. Dealing in real time.
