     Can you really coordinate calendars using Springpad?  The actual coordination of calendars happens external to Springpad, but personal events and reminders set in Springpad can be automatically synced to iCal and Google Calendar. I see how that can work.  You can get more detail here.

I had this post planned on the calendar before reading John C. Maybe what we really mean is schedule/calendar management, life management, or self-management. I once tried to work with someone who intentionally double and triple-booked himself every day. In other words, no double-booking! Sorry…had to get that out.

Fantastical: Even though I manage to use my calendar more sparingly than some, when I do need access to it I call on Fantastical. The natural language component is a big deal for me, and it''s had it far longer than the native iOS calendar app. I''m plowing through more books as a result, which was a goal of mine this year.

I have used Dropbox successfully for years, but many other cloud storage options exist. TEMPLATE – Annual Planning Calendar. I prefer to use a cloud-based storage location that also backs up to my local hard drive so I can access the notebooks regardless of whether I’m connected to the internet. Now my team and I use Dropbox , so it’s become my default digital filing cabinet. When I view it by file name, all of these past webinar alerts that I downloaded to add to my calendar appear together. These are already on my calendar so they can be deleted completely from my Sorting Folder.

You have to subclass Calendars, Time Zones and Time Components if you want to do some fine grained date comparisons. I guess I could write a mini-book on this topic ). Frustration Level (0 – 1oo): 45 – UIDatePicker is still a nasty thing, not to mention that working with time in Objective C is a pain in the arse.
