25 ways to get noticed on LinkedIn

Write your own blog and put the link in your profile. Don’t self-promote too much. Tag on media at the bottom of your summary profile (videos, pdf, blogs, etc.) If you are active on other social media platforms such as Twitter and don’t have a website you can add your LinkedIn profile. Always follow the 80/20 rule.

What you need to understand is that promoting your brand isn’t a one-off gig – you need to keep up a steady stream of positive impressions on a daily basis. They read a blog you’ve written. They check your email footer for info. They Google your website for a biography.
