I will do that to some degree on my YouTube channel, but not here on the blog. Then when Francesco D’Alessio of Keep Productive posted my decision on his blog over at Medium , that compelled me to go further than that. Not by some of the issues that plagued other users, like slower speeds or conflicting keyboard shortcuts.

I think with the education system not taking spelling as seriously as it used to and with the use of Spell Check, we are just not noticing anymore or taking the time to look it over carefully. I read my articles over many, many times and proof them and try to get them as polished as I can before pressing “Publish” on my blog.

I close all of them by either clicking on the "X" at the top-right corner or pressing ALT-F4 (keyboard shortcut to remember - can be very useful). Once I am finished with the task, I would look at my next task on my to-do list and figure out what applications I wont need. Then I would open up the applications associated with the next task.

I connected a Bluetooth keyboard, downloaded some new apps, and it mostly worked for drafting blog posts, rough drafts, and replying to emails. But then my system sagged. I couldn’t search online nearly as quickly, I lacked the efficiency of keyboard shortcuts, and my phone was starting to lag. Okay, no questions.

Last weekend, the keyboard lights went out. The ALT works the same way as the ALT key on your computer keyboard. It makes the alternate numbers and characters on the keyboard available. As you can imagine, I couldn’t use the keyboard at night. Read on, you may find a surprise. I was a bit frustrated. Time will tell.

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I am not a big fan of touch screen keyboards as they are not a true QWERTY keyboard. The touch screen keyboard won’t give you a fast typing rate because you have to type with one finger versus all 10. It’s a great reminder system or to do list. Do you use a voice recorder?
