I’ve written a few blogs recently on how to work with confidential documents particularity when your desk is in an open plan office. It is a subject that most assistants would have wrestled with in their career and at times probably have found themselves in a difficult position so I thought it would be good to discuss this over a few blogs.

Workplace drama can come in many different forms, from the gossiping colleague to the co-worker who yells (or cries) when under stress. Walk away from gossip. In any workplace, there are gossips who love to have listeners. Don't be one of them, even if the gossiper is using a fun-loving "Wait until you hear this!"

I was interviewed by the lovely Elena Aylott from EMEA East about my blog and social media in general. Why did you decide to write a blog? I think a lot of assistants are in the same position and appreciate the blog because I approach it with that honesty. That inspires me to write this free blog! Yes yes yes!
