I do however use my Tasks and Reminders in Outlook throughout the day for my own deadlines and projects, but for organizing someone else, this system beats even that for simplicity and it just plain works! I always put (OPEN) in the Subject of the meeting so they will know to open the calendar appointment for more information.

Nobody came to tell me what I have to do, they just informed me about the projects that were developed in the company and that was pretty much all. The projects were really boring, like software for assurance companies, with a lot of niche specific features, or software for managing parks or supermarkets. I was all alone in there.
