I have heard of EAs working for successful international corporations and earning a very large salary. State you’d love to be an EA and learn so much you can be promoted to coordinator, director, manager. Even asking to intern, shadow, or be mentored by someone well respected is a great first step.

Yes I have taken numerous courses to assist with my role both internal office courses and external professional courses. If you can get a mentor n(within or outside of your company), that might help also. Yes I took supplementary courses in software over the course of several years. I have taken several courses and classes.
