We had a choice and this review was written from the Salon bar and not the room. The issues I mentioned with the standard rooms, however, are ones that I would be concerned about for business traveller. Advertised minimum rate per night is£370 (October 2014). Unfortunately the bedrooms foibles didn’t end there.

We went on the first big family trip we’ve had without extended family as we traveled to San Diego.

During the 10 minutes I had to wait for my room I was able to rest my travel weary body on one of the comfortable sofas next to the open fire in the lobby area. Advertised minimum rate is $139 per person (March 2014). Now that is customer service! Practically Perfect PA received complimentary accommodation at The Talbott Hotel.
