Receiving Out Of The Blue Thank You Emails This started to happen a year ago, and in the last few months has become more and more common. In the beginning I was getting a thank you email (or comment on the blog, for that matter) once a month. not, I tend to have a rather greedy “Delete&# key on my keyboard.

Although it’s been more than 7 months since I’ve published it, I still get a few re-tweets per week and a decent number of monthly thank you emails. After I finish, I send the generated mind map as an email attachment. For that, I’m using Quicksilver, the MacJournal shortcut and self-addressed emails. That’s all.

That’s a key point and a very important question for every blogger who had been wrecked more than one keyboard writing. But the most important part of the question is not “how” but “why”. Why would you want to convert that traffic? What you developed so far was only discipline. A set of rules followed closely.

Sure, it’s great to hit the snooze button and give yourself an extra hour of R&R once in awhile, but before you know it, you’re getting up at noon and puttering around before you answer your customer emails. It’s all too easy to fall into bad habits, starting with procrastination. For starters, institute a schedule and stick to it.

Get business training too, you will need to know about accounts, management etc. I have been so passionately involved in my work this morning I totally forgot I made myself a nice cup of tea and sat it next to my keyboard. One thing I would add is to make sure you know the nitty-gritty of business. LOL I LOVE this post.
