It all started in 2001 when I launched a service business based on just an idea. I traveled the world from Australia to Switzerland, selling tickets and packages to corporate clients for the world’s largest sporting events. And I did change that day. I had a team of employees and $1 million in sales my first year.

A big, inspiring “why” propelled Justine Flynn and her co-founders to launch their company, Thankyou, in 2008. In October 2001, with three children under 4 (including an 8-week-old), I moved from Australia to Dallas with my husband, Andrew, who’d been offered a job. Trust your capabilities. I recall slapping my face to reset the image.

Soon after graduating an opportunity arose for her to travel to Palestine to film the clashes at Qalandia checkpoint. In September 2001 she set up a charity “Lessons With Love” to support the youngsters in Beit Jibrin Camp. In 2000 she won a scholarship to study photography at The London School of Printing.
