Lady Diana had just accepted a proposal from Prince Charles – Lady Diane was a nursery nurse, so I thought that was an excellent career path. In London, I met my husband-to-be (now ex) and I ended up retiring and moving to the Caribbean for 5 years. What does your career path look like? A fabulous role which I loved.

The article discussed how the City of Hickory, NC proposed offering early retirement to 84 of their employees. Reading the details of what would be offered in exchange for taking the early retirement deal didn’t really strike me as a wonderful option for those 84 people., especially in the current economy.

Hochwarter over the phone. And due to outsourcing, Boomers not retiring, and Gen Yers being told (by older generations mind you) to get degrees in their "passion" or that "any degree" is a path to success.you end up with a lot of overworked, underpaid 20somethings. I would love to see it myself.
