He asked me to find a location, negotiate a lease, remodel the space if needed and take care of all interior decorating and procurement. I’ve been an executive assistant for several years and I’ve received a lot of training but I’m not a facilitator or a trainer.

However, if you know how valued you are and what unique things you bring to the table, it does mean there may be some room for negotiating. It’s because they trust you.
