I actively grow my LinkedIn network every week, if not every day. When I hear about a company that interests me for any reason, I look for people who work there to add to my network. If I read a business article about someone in Los Angeles, I look them up and add them. Yes, it was bold of me to ask my classmate that I barely knew.
