Specifically, when I use the car bluetooth to dial a number, meaning, I tell the car navigation system to dial a stored number or spell-out the number, the phone resets. I’ve had to resort to dialing on the phone, disconnecting and then using the car navigation system to redial. It just shuts itself off and restarts.

Along with our multiple work passwords, we have a password for our home computer, and if we sign up for Facebook, Twitter or any other website, we have another password to remember. I have a similar system with my boss. I put travel in red and action reminders in yellow, but that is our own system and it works for us. but I don't use that system or know what the colours mean. Maintaining a good bring-forward system is important to have things ready when needed. Having a good filing system and keeping the file list up to date is something every assistant needs to be able to do. As long as the end product looks good, at times we have to be creative to get there. Be prepared and think ahead.

Check: Do you have a system for prioritizing your workload? It automatically updates when I use an office product, and I can manually enter stop/start times for phone calls, meetings, face to faces, etc. Really great tool for analyzing your productivity. Moving users from one account to another was as seamless as two mouse clicks (even better with a nice new Keyboard Maestro macro as well!). Adding my Twitter account was an easy experience and watching all of my contacts fill up there, with phone number fields filled in was great to see. Quite simply, it shows.
