Here are some tips as your career progresses that will affect how you job hunt. The lower-level admin you are the more jobs there are. Your job hunt will take a lot longer. The higher up you go on the ladder of admin roles, the longer your job hunt will take. Job hunt with focus.

If you’ve decided you want to be an EA or have a career that leads to a great salary, it all starts with growth. 5) Look for jobs under different titles with the same skill set. Almost every job has an admin element to it.

I make an incredible salary so when I tell my husband and friends I want to explore other avenues, they think I'm crazy. I knew I didn’t want to job hunt for more than 6-9 months if I didn’t have to. And as I was working, job hunting and/or temping, I had to find other sources of happiness.
