My suitcase was packed, my traveling clothes all laid out. An hour later, they returned to inform us that our flight was delayed. My dad has always enjoyed days spent swimming in the ocean, followed by hearty dinners at nice restaurants. When my dad went out to get the paper, he nearly slipped on the icy sidewalk.

During the week the lobby is busy hosting informal meetings for the local business folk but on the weekend (I arrived late Friday afternoon) the City and the hotel are tranquil locations to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. For room service I ordered fish and chips (a British staple) and a large glass of wine.

I was in back-to-back Committee meetings and I decided to use two different colours of folders, a blue one for the Committee members, with an attendance sheet stapled to the inside cover for my purposes, along with their meeting packages, and a red one for the Chair with everything the Chair was going to need. Too much information.
