The staffing agent asked if I was open to temp to perm, even though the position was for a full time EA, he feels the CEO may need time to see if it is a good fit. I have no idea how long "temp" is considered before they would offer the permanent position. Thanks again for all your informative blogs!!!

The overall concept is to share best practice and information and to create a unified sense of collaboration between all Assistants. This would also help with their induction process and ideally a ‘buddy cover’ or mentor could be assigned. Knowledge sharing will cut down time for each PA and Manager to research information.

I learned through informational interviews that I should apply to temp agencies. So I left that temp gig and went to work for the CEO.
