Facebook Groups for PAs/EAs – in my experience these are slightly more interactive and informal than LinkedIn groups. I can personally recommend the EUMA and Executive Secretary Magazine groups for interactive social networking across the globe. Hootsuite Podium is also a free training resource for social media.

I can tell you my friends and colleagues got a lot of phone calls in those early days and it was a wonderful resource and help to me. Read professional magazines when you get the opportunity. Too much information. We can all help each other.
