There, we’d spend the holidays together, as a family, without the overgifting and overdecorating and overeating of a typical Christmas. An hour later, they returned to inform us that our flight was delayed. On Christmas Eve, she’d cook pigs in a blanket and we’d head over to the neighborhood holiday party. I was dreaming, too.

During the holidays it is important to have people in the office to keep things going. Some things that are nice to have on hand are a box of staples, various size clamps, extra pens and some highlighters. You probably have some nice photos from the holidays that you can display as well or cards from friends.

I was in back-to-back Committee meetings and I decided to use two different colours of folders, a blue one for the Committee members, with an attendance sheet stapled to the inside cover for my purposes, along with their meeting packages, and a red one for the Chair with everything the Chair was going to need. Too much information.
