If you have a big project due, break down the steps necessary and write those on each card.   As you are traveling and you think of things you need or want to do, you take out a card and jot it down.    Or, follow us on Twitter !    Re-ordering is generally faster than re-writing an entire list.

Also consider color-coding the index cards by project. “At the beginning of the day, put your cards in order, with the most important item on top. If something else comes up, reorder the cards,” she says. For example, write all tasks related to recruitment on blue cards and items related to resident evaluations on red cards.

  By grabbing a small project (for example, an article that you want to read) and working on it for a short period of time, you take a few minutes away from the work that was putting you into an afternoon coma-like state.    You also release serotonin/happiness/excitement as you finish a project.

One of those projects is in fact an entrepreneurship-investors event, called Venture Connect. Basically, my job here is to screen interesting projects, to evaluate them and to make sure they meet a certain criteria.
