Recently, with the Haitian earthquake disaster, a friend mentioned that one of the doctor`s at the hospital where she works was asking people to sponsor him in a swim for Haiti. He raised over $1,000.

After thinking about it for awhile, I realized my design education does help me when coding, the organization and visual cues you learn in graphic design go a long way when slicing a PSD or planning the way you’re going to code a site.
