Thank goodness for Google , I use it all the time to get answers. This time I came up with a site called Karens Linguistics Issues. It gives the proper spelling for British, Canadian and American words and is very user friendly. If you find some are outdated please let me know so I can remove them from this list. 411 Look Up 411.ca

Do you ever get a meeting request and an agenda has not been provided, or if it is a teleconference the call-in details have not been given or the boardroom hasnt been booked for an internal meeting? When booking meetings ownership of the meeting has to be established. Whose responsibility is it anyway?

So I did what I normally do when I want an answer -- I Googled it! When I looked on Google different companies were calling it different things, but PowerPoint Remote or Presentation Remote does help. Here we were, professional assistants talking about the thingy for the PowerPoint. And guess what? Thanks Patty. 23, 1 p.m.

Assess which meetings can be adjusted without too much disruption. Internal meetings can usually be changed more easily so start there. Depending on the importance of the impromptu meeting, it may need to be changed to another timeslot to accommodate his or her calendar. Your boss is not trying to sabotage you.
