It says a lot when your boss wants to grow you within the company and promote you. I would also volunteer at work and socialize with my co-workers during the holiday gift wrapping parties. I will temp and enjoy the downtime to spring clean and read for personal/intra self improvement. I mentored other younger assistants.

Tell us your story on how you went from temping in LA to being the EA of high-profile CEOs. I found every single one of my jobs through a temping agency or by referral. I learned through informational interviews that I should apply to temp agencies. So I left that temp gig and went to work for the CEO.

It’s a contradiction in that we want to use the vehicle to promote ourselves, but that same vehicle is used for piracy. You know, what’s the goal? So I had to persevere, believe in what I could offer, and that this was a goal I didn’t want to give up on. It’s funny. I don’t write music for that.
