Fax Blasts I remember someone from my IAAP Chapter asked me to fax the notice of our Chapter dinner to a list of about 60 companies to promote it. I dont know about you, but when I get these "flyer" type faxes, they go immediately in the recycle bin. Going, going, gone. In anyone home ?

So a gift card to their favorite restaurant or clothing store would be appropriate. Order Lunch In If your department or office is approaching a deadline and things are getting on edge, order lunch from your boss’ favorite restaurant and deliver it to them in their office. When the computer is not in use put it in sleep mode.

He was thinking this guy would have taken a job at a fast food restaurant just to get away from his co-workers. Look into purchasing an all-in-one fax, printer, and copier. While exchanging pleasantries, Stanley was really thinking that this guy left the company because he didnt like the staff and wasnt happy with the company.

Faxes gave way to e-mails which gave way to text messages from anywhere at any time. Ted’s Restaurant (as in Ted Turner) in Atlanta helps calm fidgety little kids waiting for a meal by providing them color crayons and a kids menu turned into coloring book. Today’s customers have a strong need for speed.

This will likely cut down on a lot of basic questions like the what the fax number is or your boss’ parking spot number. I save “food profiles” of each individual for each restaurant. The ones for work I label Wk in my phone and the really loud alarm that I use for myself at home or when I’m not at work is just labeled Alarm.

If you practice good etiquette, not only will your guests remember you in a positive manner as a representative of your company, but the staff at the restaurant will remember you as well (good or bad!).
