That’s a crappy example, but you get the point. It demonstrates self-confidence. I like your before/after examples that light up the point. If I ever have to use an example of stupidity in my copy, that stupidity has to be on my part. Good example is Naomi. Go read my blog for a few hours and get psyched up.

Take this blog, for example. Holiday Season Kicks Off – 2 Weeks in Review! With the autograph example, the piece of paper they just put their name on became a commodity the moment they did, but they don’t expect to get a cut of any profit should it be sold. So you have to give out samples. It’s free.
