Writing when you don't know what you're talking about.

My boss tells me I should be able to write a letter or a report on something even if I dont know the subject that well. I wrote the article The Art of Minute Taking and I had only taken minutes a few times about 25 years ago. Writing on a subject you know nothing about is a good way to learn something about that particular topic.

I have been on some interactive sites where assistants ask questions and get answers and I learn from them as I have some of the same questions. Lunch n learns are also a good way to learn from each other. Administrative newsletters or bulletin boards where you can post tips or suggestions is a good way to learn.
