Maybe this economic environment can lead people to believe that they are desperate for a job. I went to NYC for a job interview - traveled 4 hours from DC and the hiring manager made me wait half an hour, didn't even offer me a water or coffee. I almost left before the interview. I hated the mental stress and burden of putting everyone else first and getting only the usual thank you’s and words of appreciation. I started this blog while temping/job hunting and I was allowed to write or do personal side projects as long as it was not interfering with my work. I hated having to do EVERY LITTLE thing for my boss.

It’s like stage stress, before walking up on a TV show or a big opening act. I think it’s good to change, to reconnect and adapt to whatever environment you fall into. Just look at our environment: nighttime, no sun, the moon. Just look at our environment: nighttime, no sun, the moon. People respond to humans.
