I use my iPhone every day and I’ve found there are loads of apps which are really helpful for assistants and their managers, most of which probably have either an iPhone or an iPad. This app is slightly more expensive but worth paying for if your manager travels a lot. Love this app for myself and my manager. FlightTrack: £2.99

There are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, hotels and pubs all within the campus so guests are very well looked after. The staff are really focused on providing a quality events management service. The other meeting spaces do not have audio visual equipment. The two DLR stops also really help visitors navigate the space.

If only all our managers could be so complimentary and aware of how useful we can be. Are our senior director’s really going to take that search result and book the restaurant themselves as an example and how do they know this restaurant is even any good? . Using voice recognition software can be temperamental.

Ask your waste disposal suppliers about recycling options as you may be able to recycle anything from paper and exhibition display materials such as banner stands to broken computer equipment and hazardous waste. Yes with health being a focus so think office gym equipment, stand up desks etc. Many organisations, for security reasons, do not allow staff to use their own devices for work including access to emails etc. It would certainly stop you checking emails at ungodly hours, which can only be a good thing! Concur for expenses.
