Learning to use your time wisely is super important. This can be done both in person, with a physical intro packet or via email or messenger with a digital file. Productivity is more important than the time you spend at your keyboard. Part of that is finding ways to save yourself time. Set a time to make/take phone calls.

The log-in can either be done using your email address or your phone number that is tied to your PayPal account. It does take a bit of practice learning how to hold your device; but once you've got it, it works every time. The receipt can be mailed to your customer's email or texted to their phone.

I will say, though, that Ali’s post was coincidentally timed – though you’ll have to tune in next week to learn why. You bashed monsters by hitting keys on your keyboard whilst wondering if you could hook up a nodding bird à la Homer Simpson. Griffin – Drool and keyboards don’t mix. That’s cool.

Maquis June 28, 2010 at 1:16 am I’ll admit that I’ve definitely learned the hard way that sleep deprivation can be physically painful. The good part of waking up then is that I’ll often write whole blog posts or emails in my head, and they’re generally quite good. Lesson learned.

I maximize those as much as I can, and when they strike, I get myself to a keyboard. And we all need that.

Sure, it’s great to hit the snooze button and give yourself an extra hour of R&R once in awhile, but before you know it, you’re getting up at noon and puttering around before you answer your customer emails. It’s all too easy to fall into bad habits, starting with procrastination. For starters, institute a schedule and stick to it.
