It will definitely be added to My Favourites on the side bar of the blog under Spelling. This time I came up with a site called Karens Linguistics Issues. It gives the proper spelling for British, Canadian and American words and is very user friendly. By the way, behaviourial is spelled this way in Canada. vs. i.e.

If I am told that I should have it in the next few weeks, or can expect to receive it in a couple of months, that doesn’t really help me with my follow up as it is not a definite date. I can only guess when I might get it. I would prefer they say you will have it by March 4th. That I can track. Dates are important. vs. i.e.

Holgate is the Executive Assistant to the President, she also reports to the Director of Human Resources and manages a staff of four. On the night of the awards Lynn reports she was sitting at a table with nine of her colleagues from HPTI including the Senior Vice-President. Her family and friends were also very excited for her.

There was one particular group of orphan children that was brought to our attention by a Canadian news reporter. It is so sad, because you know children so young have no idea what is going on. All they want is to be taken care of and be loved by someone. But for the charity of an old woman who came to feed them, they had no one. vs. i.e.

Like you, I list the new assistant as not only a contact but a definite resource for future references. As you previously stated, this is a great way to not only meet new people but you can expand your list of contacts to include the new assistant. I have found this practice to pay off big just when you need it! vs. i.e.
