Fax Blasts I remember someone from my IAAP Chapter asked me to fax the notice of our Chapter dinner to a list of about 60 companies to promote it. I dont know about you, but when I get these "flyer" type faxes, they go immediately in the recycle bin.

I know that you might have a large workload to deal with, but this will definitely help. The best way to deal with stressful situations like this is to stop, take a breath and relax for a few minutes. Once you get your body to relax for a bit, your focus will be much more productive on what you have to accomplish.

Well, keep in mind that if you keep doing this on a regular basis, it will definitely become a big deal. You think to yourself, "Its just one bag of chips" or "Its just one chocolate bar" and no harm done. I lost about 30 lbs. in about 6 months because I changed my lifestyle.

This will definitely make a difference to whether this should be an approach to take. Many companies these days have specific rules against importing outside mail into their Exchange system, not only for security and confidentiality reasons, but also because of document retention issues. Your point about confirming the supervisor's definition of administrative support is so important! so you clearly understand the supervisor's expectations, especially if this is the first time the supervisor has had their own assistant!
