The good thing about on-line courses, is anyone can do it from anywhere. When it gets closer to the course date and it doesnt look like they will fill the seats, they offer the course at a cheaper price. They can slot you into courses, either online or live classrooms that are happening tomorrow or later on.

It’s a reminder to all of us that depending on one system alone works fine, right up until the time that it doesn’t. In this case, commercial email services were affected, but the next time it could be your server at work. Of course, the inverse also works. I even do this with my Gmail accounts.

This, of course, is heaven to some, but like me, cant stand being bored. Thats how I ended up getting my current job. You should see my follow-up list. I usually follow up ever 3 business days on outstanding items. Having nothing to do is such a time waster. My suggestion to this is to be persistent. Its quite large.

Normally, I put something about needing to get my filing system up to date, but I think I may have missed the point when I have done that. I take the bus to work and I often see people getting on a busy bus and then going through their backpack or purse looking for their bus tickets and holding up the line. I like to be prepared and I find life just works better for me at home, work and even on the bus, when I am organized and ready for whatever is coming up. no tickets.

If a conference comes up and they are looking for someone to do the registration, we can step in and do that or we can organize it from start to finish. Who better than the admins to come up with something that works. Of course if you are not licensed to do a particular job, or qualified, then you should not do it.

I wonder what kind of service the client would have thought he was offering! Years ago, when I worked for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), I took a training course on a Telex machine. Again, when I worked at the RCMP, I went on a training course for a machine to do criminal record checks. Needless to say -- it worked!

Of course, the reason could have been that I was up all night with a sick child or wasnt feeling well myself or I just had an argument with my spouse and was still stewing about it. Other than the extra work I need to do at the gym to tone up and trim down, I saw some good qualities as well and it was helpful to see myself present.

Along with our multiple work passwords, we have a password for our home computer, and if we sign up for Facebook, Twitter or any other website, we have another password to remember. Of course what works for me will probably not apply to you so you need to set up folders that apply to your working situation, but the fewer the better. What I especially like about it is now when I need to find an e-mail that my boss sent me, it is not tangled up with all the other e-mails, but in a folder all its own.

Telemarketing is my number one annoyance in advertising and as soon as I answer the phone and get that few seconds of dead air, that is my queue to hang up. It is usually a business I am interested in and I want to know when new courses or products are offered. It was easy and I got the benefit of trying the service before signing up.

When he is away, it is very quiet and sometimes I just have to get up and walk around and visit someone or it feels like I am there by myself. I can interact where I am now, but I have to get up and go if I want to speak with someone and then when I get there I may find they are busy or on the phone so I have wasted my time.

She saw the importance of this training to help her daughter know the workings of an office from the bottom up and the office benefitted from her educational training. She was a smart kid and picked up the tasks assigned to her very quickly. I have seen admin assistants climb up the corporate ladder just that way.
