Depending on the severity, Google may even delist a website, leaving an extreme loss in revenue for the company. If the content is associated as plagiarized content, then Google will use its own algorithm to determine authenticity. This rumor is false, and it’s referred in the Google world as a domain farm.

Google’s ranking system is no longer location independent — location and searcher intentions do play a major part in rankings — and maintaining the number one spot is no longer a relatively easy effort. The goal today is not to rank high for the entire world, but to rank high for your city. Build local links.

When I have a lot of errands, I enter the addresses into an online map site (like Google Maps or MapQuest) and then rearrange them to figure out what the best route is so that I'm not retracing my steps. Ask yourself everyday, "What is the most important task I can accomplish today that aligns with my goals?"

Our organization uses Google Apps for our e-mail, calendar and cloud solution. Unlike traditional e-mail, Google Apps utilizes labels instead of a folder system for e-mail sorting and storage. For example, I have all of my ezine and newsletter subscriptions go into a folder by that name. Lovin' Those Labels!
