Last weekend, the keyboard lights went out. The ALT works the same way as the ALT key on your computer keyboard. It makes the alternate numbers and characters on the keyboard available. As you can imagine, I couldn’t use the keyboard at night. Read on, you may find a surprise. I was a bit frustrated. Time will tell.

Motorola CLIQ Review - Part 1

I enjoyed having a full QWERTY keyboard without all of the keys, in such compact form factor. However, neither the HTC myTouch nor the Samsung Behold 2 have a keyboard. A keyboard is a necessity for me, especially given that I have big thumbs and I like the tactile feel of keys. These were all multi-touch devices. TheMarq.com.

Motorola Droid and CLIQ

I was considering one of the Android phones and the Motorola CLIQ has stood out given the tight integration with Google Apps and social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. What’s worse is that as the keyboard is getting more use, it’s not as sensitive. I like that there are various applications available for the phone, like Google Maps, Facebook, and the video camera app that comes standard with it. The same is true for seeing how many emails, Facebook and text messages I’ve received.

They include Better Keyboard, Math Works, Brain Genius, DroidLive, Pandora, Movies, Where!, Plainly, it has a vertical, horizontal and top level bubble to help you level the picture or shelf you’re hanging in grandma’s room! That’s it for now. There are a lot more apps that I’ve downloaded and I’m test-driving.
