Microaggressions can be better understood as “death by a thousand cuts,” which can be detrimental to a person’s health, safety, opportunities, livelihood, personhood and more. Below are examples of some common comments and questions that are rooted in racism, with explanations of why they should be avoided.

One of the problems with e-mail is that not everything needs to be acted on right away, but if you don’t have a good reminder system in place, then you’re likely to let things slip through the cracks. In a nutshell, it turns *ANY* e-mail client into a reminder system. You forward it to, for example, tuesday@nudgemail.com.

At first, I assumed I would be focusing on menu adjustment, working with the clients to make sure they were getting the right nutritional balance, and monitoring caloric intake and changes in health. Nutrition and health can’t be managed without also addressing career and stress and every other aspect of life that could be impacting success.

There are 5 key advantages to maintaining a to-do list: 1) A to-do list doesn’t forget Your brain is not the most efficient memory tool and will only trust systems that it knows works. From there you can prioritize them and tackle the important ones first.

They do not have systems for handling their most important areas of life. 1 - Create an Action System This is the system that manages all of the papers that are on your counters and other spaces that you have out in the open and in piles because you don't want to forget to do something.

This can be compared to receiving flyers or junk mail via the snail mail system. For Example: “Follow up to our conference call” or “Needing Information on Computer Disposal Policy” Avoid blank subject lines or overly general subjects.They are more likely to be ignored or overlooked when the recipient’s in-box has 100 new messages.
