Condense: Take what was said and break it down. Number each step.

Being a successful leader means having the desire and commitment to developing the knowledge, skills and abilities required to inspire people. For example, if you are holding a meeting with team members, make sure the agenda is set, action items are completed and that things don’t slip through the cracks.

From the example above, you could simply say, “I would like to tell you about how we started this project, where we are today and our time-line for completing the project&# , which is a chronological sequence. It’s designed to develop impromptu-speaking skills.
