During the app building process, I applied the same framework rules: I assessed, I decided than I did what seemed to be necessary to move the app forward. Now, the app is in the AppStore for more than 2 months, the latest version syncs your data with Dropbox, there is also an iPad version and so on. The app, the blog, the promotion.

Each trips has its own pile of receipts, waiting to be categorized, transcribed and somehow processed into my own personal expenses tracking system. And I will get an email stating that my receipt was received and that it will be soon processed. The next day, another email stated that my receipt was processed. Namely, receipts.

Once you are done with this process you only have important activities left. In my leisure time I could add watching TV, book shopping, idle web surfing and similar things, but I already choose to remove them. Well, I dont. I have stared doing such activities in ly life too.

This was the beginning of a long and somehow confusing process. Only if the task is overdue, you can start the reverse process, sending the task back to Decide and from Decide to Assess, if you want. Just write it down in the Assess realm and enjoy the process. I fell off the GTD wagon and didn’t embarked on a new train.

I’m glad the new book is going to have a comprehensive overview of both the process and the app. I use the word “timeline&# instead and it makes the whole process so much more enjoyable. Lyman Reed´s last blog. I never loved the word “deadline&# …too negative and too dark.

Once you have finished a task you may build a dozen more on top of the results and start the process over. As you slowly advance with processing, your Assess area should start to decompress, while the yellow area, the Decide realm, should start becoming crowded. Another reason would be the absence of a deadline as we know it.
