The report also suggests that three quarters of respondents would take a pay cut to be happier at work or to work wherever they want. When they’re not happy at all, that number rises to 91 percent.

I know that is easier said than done because low self esteem may be the roadblock. I found this link to the Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale which has some questions we can ask ourselves to see where we are on the self esteem scale. So I started to say Yes and it was a real confidence booster.

Never again will I have to bear the attacks on my self confidence and self-esteem, but I will never forget how it feels. Some Executive Assistants now have direct reports on the administrative staff and that was cause for a title change to Administrative Manager or Team Lead, to better reflect the job responsibilities.
