The system I use is quite simple and has been around for a long time.

It is ideal to have daily meetings to plan for the days and weeks ahead, but sometimes that is not possible if your boss is on the move. Your boss will need a high level of confidence and trust that whoever is doing the scheduling will have their best interests at heart and will not overbook them. Nobody likes to be over booked.

Bring Forward System or Using Tasks in Outlook Have a system to follow up on items your boss has asked you to do or things you know you need to do. I also use Tasks in Outlook to follow up on electronic items.

I also like people to show confidence by shaking my hand. When you need it later: The Bring-Forward System I always have the perfect answer. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul and it is true, you can tell a lot by someones eyes so if you are not looking at me I wonder what you dont want me to know about you. the next day!
