If you aren’t confident in your abilities, how do you convince a prospective client you’re the person for the job? They don’t know whether you’ve just finished a year-long project or just opened your freelancing business. Plus, complaining about pay in a situation where you typically negotiate your own pay is a bit tacky.

A website like that conveys confidence, pride and prowess. I know whenever I’m looking to hire somebody for contract work or to share in projects I’m taking on I always check their website to learn more about them. In the days of brick and mortar a nice building projected the I’m here to stay message.

When I started to work for this project (and yes, it was just a pet project in the beginning), all I did was to log daily my progress. Learned how to create a project and what the folder structure means. Did a few tests with some sample projects to see how the building process works. Can be tricky at times. Got some rest.
