Especially when you’re inexperienced, self-esteem issues come into play – having people you respect say that you’re doing something right. One on one consulting, seminars, meet ups are difficult to copy and expensive to hold. You can’t outsource your US seminar to the Philippines, yet. Look at OXO.

It was free because it was idle; it wasn’t supposed to be the sort of business expertise that many companies would shell out good money for in the form of a consultant. Who said it was smart to give a one-hour free seminar, speech or workshop almost every single day? I no longer have a company paying into a retirement fund.
