I think we should not underestimate the contribution we are making to our companys success and should evaluate ourselves accordingly. As wonderful as online learning can be, going to a live conference or seminar with other assistants is something that you should try to do a few times a year. Happy New Year to you as well.

I got an e-slap on the wrist - Ouch!

I also learned at a "Working Smarter with Microsoft Outlook" seminar that we should not use e-mails as urgent requests. I had a situation a couple of years ago where I had replied to an e-mail that I had mis-read and that caused a bit of kirfluffle (not sure how spell that). This little tip has been a huge time-saver for me.
