What is the proper etiquette when addressing or writing to a President? If you ever have an opportunity to meet him, you should call him Mr. President or Sir and if you are writing correspondence you would write Dear Mr. Even for convenience sake. If a conference comes up and they are looking for someone to do the registration, we can step in and do that or we can organize it from start to finish. There comes a time when companies need to pony up the money and either pay for your training or pay for a professional instead of heaving everything off on the admin because theyre cheap.

Recently, we wanted to see who was off site and at what event, so we decided when people are away at conferences, etc. For instance if I was going to be away to attend a conference I would put: Pat off site (IAAP/Toronto) This way we can keep track of who is going where, when. 5, 2010 at 12 p.m. Oh where or where is my password?

Networking at a conference does little good if you never speak with the person after the event. If you meet someone at an Administrative Assistant conference, for example, make sure to follow up with that contact within a week or two after the event. If you discussed a need at the conference, be sure to address it.
