I actually at graduation, when they put like the sash around you, I I was like, top 10% of my class, which I had no idea. And I guess the other thing that was surprising about that one in high school like right before graduation, they announced like, half the class wasn’t gonna pass unless they got their grades up. So I did that.

It also looks bad on one’s resume. I would rather go to a pilates studio that has classes late at night that fits my work hours vs going to a gym that only costs $30 a month. When you leave your job, other companies will only consider you for jobs of equal or higher pay and skills. Take an online class and study at work.

I imagine at the time she knew just what a difference it would have made in her workplace to have been able to leave that question of gender unanswered when we were still at the resume stage of the proceedings.
