I’ll write a report in my home office right after finishing breakfast. For instance, if your task is titled as “paint the home office ceiling,” the description is just too vague. Empty the home office and cover the furniture. The solution was a calendar, where the whole year was presented in one page.

As an aside, any true monthly, weekly, daily, or combination planner - all of which will be discussed shortly - should offer some version of a yearly planner in the form of a 1, 2, and/or 3-year outlook.
