Attend Networking Events If you’re inwardly groaning reading this one, you’re not alone. I am not a social butterfly and networking events are literally what my nightmares are made of. Be sure to bring business cards and have a brief, clear elevator explanation you can give of your services.

Archive Network with Steph Is This You? One item frequently purchased at this time of year is a calendar or planner for the upcoming year. If your calendar is on your hard drive, it is more difficult to remotely access, and only one person can be in the system at a time, unless you have a network version.

And I definitely don’t want to purchase something from a company I can’t trust to ask me nicely to pay attention to what they’re doing. It’s more effective to network with your clients and build a personal relationship. And as you do this, invite them and if they like you enough they might sign up for your newsletter.
