Use Foursquare and find out the businesses listed in your neighbourhood. Your Portfolio. Start with your immediate neighbourhood.

Use formal forms of address. go to vista print and order free business cards that are simple in design with your current name, email and cell phone number. Wait and if someone you are meeting with during the interview process hands you there card, then give them one of yours. unless invited to do otherwise.

I also can use the recording to make a cd and give to potential clients or current clients instead of a business card or brochure. Most people remember to click the "share on Facebook" (or Twitter, Digg, etc.) The new article informed readers that they could vote for the top 100 stars of the century.

I have people following me on Twitter who say things like, “Hey, if you’re looking for new writing markets, you should try this website.” I get snail mail from credit card companies who could not possibly have my new mailing address unless they scammed it off some list. It may be easier. But it’s still not a good idea.

Doesn’t have an office and most of the time doesn’t have business cards either (the new dial tone being twitter , of course). I think 75% of my work right now is writing (in the form of blog posts, blog comments or ebooks). I guess that is the beauty of blogs and informational goods.
