Did you know that when someone googles you that your LinkedIn profile will usually come to the top of the profile search. Add your Linked URL to your Business Card. If you are active on other social media platforms such as Twitter and don’t have a website you can add your LinkedIn profile. Does this really matter?

Both times I’ve replaced my phone as quickly as is humanly possible because I am just lost without it (sometimes I am literally lost without it thanks to my dependence on Google maps to get me about London!). You hand over the iPad to a guest who can then fill in a form with their details, take a photo and sign an agreement.

Of course, I have taken it a step further and Googled the people I know who are going to be interviewing me. go to vista print and order free business cards that are simple in design with your current name, email and cell phone number. When meeting someone for the first time, always say "Ms."
